About Dr Gregg Lahood
Dr G. A. Lahood has conducted pioneering research into childbirth and transpersonal theory. His research has been published in all of the leading transpersonal journals and he gives lectures and workshops internationally. In 2007 Dr Lahood was guest editor for Revision's special two-part edition on transpersonal psychology's current partcipatory-turn and its relational spirit. Dr Lahood is an anthropologist with a special interest in childbirth, trauma and the transformative ritual process. He has extensive training in humanistic, co-creative, and transpersonal therapies (e.g. Grof and Heron) and during the past 20 years he has developed a body of transpersonal work focused on perinatal psychology and healing the wounds of childbirth. Gregg continues to interview women, collecting vital information to create a more women centred approach to healing.
